Did you know...

  • 1 in 4 people are diagnosed with a mental health problem

  • 50% of people struggling with their mental health haven't told anyone yet

  • 75% of mental health issues start before the age of 18

  • Over 5000 people took their own life in 2024

  • Every suicide is preventable

You can help us make a difference!

We need your support

01

We have been given an exciting opportunity to take over a facility, previously used by South Devon College, in the heart of Newton Abbot

We’re creating the first-of-its-kind Sports Based Community Mental Health Hub in the heart of the town centre. A space where adults and young people can improve their physical and mental wellbeing through movement, connection and preventative support.

We’re inviting local businesses to become partners in building this life-changing facility. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community.

What will this facility provide?

FREE ADULT SESSIONS

A welcoming space offering free, activity-based mental health sessions where adults can connect, talk, move and build healthier habits side-by-side reducing isolation and supporting wellbeing in a stigma-free environment.

ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION

A supportive environment delivering alternative educational for children and young people who are struggling in traditional school settings.

We use physical activity, wellbeing education, life skills and mentoring to help them re-engage, thrive and find their future.

KIDS CLUBS

Accessible after-school clubs providing low-cost or fully funded sports activities that help children stay active, build confidence, make friends and learn positive ways to support their mental and emotional health through sport

SOMEWHERE TO GO

A flexible community hub open to local individuals, groups, families, organisations and the public.

Providing a safe, inclusive space to join workshops, support groups, training, social events and take part in activities that bring people together and get people moving.

Public Opportunities

Alongside our projects such as our free adult mental health session and educational program for children the facility will allow us to provide affordable access to inclusive activities such as Padel, Golf & Climbing, plus create a welcoming community cafe / zero bar area. This will help us create a sustainable approach to run the CIC making it impact reach more people for longer while also creating job opportunities for the local area.

How can you help?

We need your help to not only turn this dream into a reality, but to showcase the power of community and highlight what can truly happen when we come together and ask for help!

We have options for individuals and business to support this mission!

  • We are aiming for 200 individual supporters of £5 a month

  • We are aiming for 50 business supporters of £50 a month

  • But also you can help an many other ways too

So whether it's financially, physically with products and labour or by any other means your support would be grately appreciated.

"It's a fantastic organisation with some brilliant ideas on how to tackle mental health from a sporting perspective. These sessions have allowed myself to destress and meet some amazing individuals in my area. Without this group I don't know where I would be right now!"
